Conference venue & how to get there

The conference will take place in the 'Seminarzentrum' of the Freie Universität Berlin (floorplan (pdf)). It is located in the so called Silberlaube at Otto-von-Simson-Str. 26. You can go there by bus M11. Get off at the bus stop Hittorfstraße. Alternatively you can take the underground (U-Bahn) or the local train (S-Bahn). The closest underground station is Thielplatz (U3), the closest S-Bahn station is Lichterfelde West (S1).

Please note that the tickets are valid for all buses, trams, underground and local trains. Please contact the BVG website for further information.

The warming up will be an informal get-together for drinks or dinner at the restaurant Luise, which is in walking distance of the campus (Underground station: Dahlem-Dorf).

The conference dinner will take place at the restaurant Alter Krug, which is in walking distance of the campus as well (Underground station: Dahlem-Dorf).
